His debut tracks, 'Fast Lane' and 'Re.Up' are still on repeat at this blog, and we're not the only ones spinning his catchy take on classic soul - to date, over a million people have hit play on the mystery man's SoundCloud alone. It's no surprise then, that the Warner imprint run by none other than Bastille, Best Laid Plans, has snapped up his forthcoming Fuel to the Fire EP for release in September. The first cut from the record is its title track; an ode to "power, pressure, frustration & hope," it's Rationale's most potent work yet, with his ocean-deep vocal cutting through lilting guitars, wistful beats and foreboding bass drops.
